Introduction

Utilising the state of the art in software usability research, we have developed church presentation software that is highly easy to use, with an average learning time of five minutes for new users. As a result, the amount of time spent training new users is vastly reduced when compared to similar offerings, such as Presenter, SongPro and ZionWorx.

That is not to say that PowerSong lacks features - we've simply hidden them away, making them slightly less accessible, so that professional users can take advantage of the wealth of features that the software offers without those features being blatantly obvious to the novice users.

This is just a quick update to say that I am very grateful for the positive feedback that we have received from various churches around the world. We are glad that the software is being used, and that it seems to be working for you all! Over time I will add some of the requested features to PowerSong, but for now I am on a programming-holiday to enjoy Christmas, New Year and some of January! I will provide more updates soon.

PowerSong is completely free, unlike most other church presentation software. The software can be downloaded directly from this website and experimented with within a few minutes. Click on the download link to download PowerSong

Additionally, PowerSong is open source, allowing software development experts equipped with Visual Studio alone to further enhance the software. Open sourcing PowerSong is one step beyond the actions of many, many other offerings.

The software is currently being developed by Nicholas Hill in the UK, but additional members of the team are welcome! We are constantly on the look out for expert software developers, document writers, testers and interface usability experts.

If you find the software useful, we ask that you make a donation to support the developers. At the moment, this is just me, Nicholas Hill. Nonetheless, paying for PowerSong is far from necessary.

More importantly, we are usability freaks. We would greatly appeciate any feedback. At the least, it lets us know that people are actually using our software!
